The spark for Common Threads ignited when Mallory had a visionary idea while reflecting on her teaching experience. Realizing the potential to blend creativity with education, she partnered with Katelyn, who shared her passion and enthusiasm. Together, they transformed this vision into Common Threads, a space dedicated to teaching and inspiring others to embrace the art of sewing.

Mallory
Growing up in the beautiful state of Minnesota, Mallory has always had a knack for creativity. She pursued her passion at Brigham Young University, earning a degree in Family and Consumer Science Education. Now married for nine years and a proud mother of three, Mallory brings warmth and dedication to everything she does.

Katelyn
Hailing from the charming town of Heber, Utah, Katelyn nurtured her love for creativity at Utah State University, where she also earned a degree in Family and Consumer Science Education. Her enthusiasm and vibrant spirit infuse every project with energy and joy.
